Calls beginning with "Hello, it's me" are an Oreo scam !.

Mobara police station will contact you.
Today, in Mobara city, he deceived my son and said
"Hello, it's me. I'm at home today ?. My mail is late and the post office is calling."
followed by a phone call from someone pretending to be a post office employee trying to get personal information from you, a precursor to an Oreore scam.
After this call, you may receive a call demanding money, saying that the mail was delayed and the company has suffered damage.
To avoid being cheated by scammers
1 Always set your home landline phone to "answering machine setting" or "blocked call rejection setting" and do not answer unknown numbers or blocked calls
2 Use number display to check the other party's phone number
3 Call the real phone number of your son, relative, etc. to confirm
4 Warn ・ Utilize the call recording function
5 Do not give personal information or asset status if asked over the phone
and other measures.
If money is mentioned over the phone, it is a scam ! Do not make a decision alone, but immediately consult your family or contact the Mobara Police Station.
Let's eliminate the damage of fraud with the slogan, "If someone talks about money on the phone, it's fraud - even if it's a family member !" !
